About Noreast Whips

2005 marked the beginning year of my interest in whipmaking. Through various trades & jobs, working with my hands has always been a part of my work life. I thought that whipmaking would be a good hobby for myself. A couple books, the desire to learn, some emails to whipmakers, & I was under way. Noreast Whips wasn’t yet a thought.

The more I learned, the more I wanted to learn & improve, striving to obtain results worthy of the “perfectionist” trait that runs in my family. The hobby transitioned from an enjoyment to a love & now a profession. In 2007, Noreast Whips was born. I’m grateful to do something I love to do, & as improvement is always sought, the enjoyment of helping others build whips was also born. This blog was designed to not only share photos of whips & promote Noreast Whips, but also help provide tips & thoughts on nylon whipmaking. I hope you enjoy it!

    • Hi Casey,

Thanks so much for the info. I’ll pass it along in a post soon. Glad to see Mr. King finally has a site up. He’s definitely one of the most famous nylon whipmakers of all time!
